1987-Pittsburgh, PA
Founder Jim Foster announces Pittsburgh as one of the four cities who will take part in the inaugural Arena Football League season. The team will play its home games at Civic Arena.
2005-Salt Lake City, UT
The Ken Garff Automotive Group announces the purchase of an AFL expansion franchise for the 2006 season. The team will play in Salt Lake City, Utah. Danny White is named the team's first head coach. Later in 2005 it is revealed that the team will be known as the Utah Blaze.
2017-Tampa Bay, FL
Joe Hills becomes 15th receiver in AFL history to score 200 receiving touchdowns. He did so in just 75 games, the second fewest to games for any player to reach 200 receiving TDs.
